PERFORMANCE COACHING

You know what you can do.

Let’s make more of it available when it matters.

Individual performance coaching for athletes, performers, students, academics, leaders, and creators who want to make more of what they are capable of available when it matters.

Work directly on the pressure, hesitation, overthinking, perfectionism, and loss of confidence that can get between preparation and performance and develop better ways to respond when those things show up.

WHEN WHAT YOU CAN DO ISN'T SHOWING UP THE WAY YOU WANT

You may be preparing well and still find yourself:

Overthinking something that normally comes naturally.

Playing cautiously when you need to compete, perform, or create freely.

Chasing perfection instead of trusting your preparation.

Losing confidence after a mistake, setback, or disappointing performance.

Hesitating when it is time to begin, decide, speak, submit, compete, or be seen.

Performing differently under pressure than you do in practice.

These are things we can work on.

COACHING BUILDS THE SKILLS AROUND THE SKILL

You already spend time developing your craft.

Coaching focuses on what helps you access and use what you have developed when the situation becomes difficult.

Together, we identify what is happening, separate useful information from unnecessary interference, develop practical ways to respond, and test those approaches in the situations that actually matter to you.

The goal is greater freedom to use your abilities.

BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMANCE COACHING

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Consultation — free, 20 minutes

A conversation about what is happening and whether coaching is the right thing for it. Tell me about the situation — an audition eight weeks out, a jury that went badly last semester, a pattern you have been carrying for years — and I will tell you what I think, including whether something other than coaching would serve you better.

Nothing is sold on this call.

Single Session — $285

One 50-minute session on a specific, near-term performance.

Useful when something is coming up soon and you want to prepare for it deliberately: a jury in two weeks, a recital, a competition round, a first orchestral audition. We look at what has happened before in situations like this one, identify what is actually interfering, and build something you can practice between now and the date.

Four Sessions — $900

A focused engagement on a current performance problem, or on preparing for something that matters.

Four 50-minute sessions, used weekly or spaced across a semester and scheduled around the performances themselves. Includes an intake questionnaire before the first meeting, so we begin with a clear picture rather than spending the first session assembling one.

Most of this work goes to four places: where attention lands under pressure, how physical activation gets interpreted, what happens after a mistake in the middle of a performance, and how practice can be built to resemble performance conditions.

Audition Preparation — $1,350

Six sessions built around a specific audition or audition cycle — a conservatory pre-screen, a graduate audition, an orchestral audition, All-State, a competition.

The sessions are timed to the calendar rather than to a weekly slot: preparation and pressure training in the weeks out, one session in the final week, and one afterward. That last one is the session people skip, and it is the one that shapes what the next audition feels like.

Payment plans are available for both multi-session packages. Sessions are held online.

Which one

If something specific is on the calendar within the next month, a single session is often enough to change how you prepare for it.

If the same thing keeps happening across different performances, four sessions gives us room to work on the pattern rather than the event.

If you are in an audition cycle, the audition package is built for the shape of that calendar and costs less than the equivalent sessions bought separately.

If you are not sure, book the consultation and I will tell you which one I would suggest — including "none of these."

Who this isn't for

Coaching is not therapy. If anxiety extends well beyond performance situations, disrupts everyday life, or needs clinical assessment, a licensed clinician is the right person and I will say so directly. Some people work with both.
